Sansan
Taikoz Member Ryuji Hamada originally hails from Yokohama, Japan, and this piece is a mainstay of Shoryu, the ensemble he grew up learning and playing with. Sansan has a catchy, rhythmic theme, and calls for short sections of improvisation and dynamic, enjoyable furitsuke (choreographic movement).
Ryuji takes you through all the phrases, ji-uchi, and the movement, step by step. There are many opportunities for you to play along as you progress through the module. A full score score of Sansan is also available to download.
