Tuning the Katsugi Okedo

Upon receiving a new Katsugi Okedo (or any Okedo), it is highly likely that the taiko will not be tuned up, ready to play. In fact, it could be in several pieces – a body (dou), two skins (kawa) and a long length of rope (himo). It is important that you know how to tune your own instrument and in this lesson, Ian takes you through the method that he uses.
